Community Impact Day is an annual Shawnee Chamber of Commerce initiative that brings together businesses, residents, and civic organizations for an afternoon of hands-on service across our city. This growing tradition unites volunteers around a shared purpose—making visible, lasting improvements that strengthen Shawnee for years to come.
We are now seeking projects for Community Impact Day on April 24, 2026. Local nonprofits, schools, and community organizations are encouraged to submit projects that can be completed within the 1:00–4:00 p.m. timeframe and are suitable for small teams of volunteers. Ideal projects include beautification efforts, light landscaping, organizing, painting, or other meaningful improvements that directly benefit the community.
By submitting a project, your organization will receive volunteer support while building relationships with local businesses and showcasing the important work you do in Shawnee.
