Owned by Katie Bolen, Prayer Box Café is located at 5428 Roberts St, Shawnee, KS 66226. It is a local Shawnee coffee house offering hot & cold beverages as well as breakfast, lunch, and pastries. Katie also serves the community by supporting local artists, musicians, and authors in her shop.
How do you see the future of your business within Shawnee, and are there any local trends or changes that excite you?
I see it continuing to grow with so many projects in the area. Looking forward to continued networking. I love helping local artists, musicians, and small businesses.
How has being part of the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce influenced or supported your business?
Being part of the Shawnee Chamber has helped introduce me to many amazing people! The Shawnee Chamber's professional staff is very helpful, from Ribbon Cuttings to networking and special events. They are very supportive!
If you could share one piece of advice with a new Chamber member or a new business in Shawnee, what would it be?
Make sure you attend Member events and become involved. It will only help your business grow!
What is your favorite part about being a Chamber member?
Being new to the area, I have made several great friends through the Chamber!
