The Shawnee Economic Development Council has announced 70 new jobs with TonerCycle/Ink Cycle will be moving to the company’s new location in Shawnee. The building is located at 10601 West 79th Street and has approximately 79,000 square feet for operations.
“The Shawnee Economic Development Council is excited to welcome another quality business to our community,” said Shawnee Chamber President | CEO Ann Smith-Tate. “Shawnee is a solid community and a good investment for businesses that want to create jobs here.”
TonerCycle/InkCycle is an industry leader in toner and inkjet print cartridge technology that provides products to office and computer products resellers, office products superstores, other national chain stores, and printer service companies.
“We selected the Shawnee location because it is absolutely perfect for what we are in the process of doing,” said Executive Vice President Brad Roderick. “The building provides mixed use for us including engineering, manufacturing, distribution and staff offices. It is also an ideal location for our workers.”
A nearly $25,000 Shawnee Entrepreneurial and Economic Development (S.E.E.D) Forgivable Loan will assist with the expansion efforts for TonerCycle/InkCycle which has experienced double digit growth for the past several years. The new Shawnee location will provide significant production efficiency and utility savings compared to the current company headquarters location in Lenexa.
TonerCycle/Ink Cycle produces and distributes its line of aftermarket toner and inkjet cartridges throughout North America from Lenexa, Kansas, Ventura, California, and Pennsylvania. The Kansas City metro area location employs almost 300 team members. For more information about this worldwide leader in remanufacturing technology visit http://www.inkcycle.com/
