The Shawnee Chamber offers a wide range of events, ranging from re-occurring weekly events, to larger events that take place once a year. These "networking" events are designed to allow Chamber members to connect with one another. For exact dates and times please visit our events calendar .

Networking Events

Weekly Events:

Networking-Held each Wednesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 am. This laid back event allows businesses to meet and pass business cards with anywhere from 40-75 chamber businesses and guests in the area.

Coffee/Ribbon Cuttings-Held on Tuesdays and/or Thursday mornings from 8:30 am -9:30 am. These events are similar to networking, but allow a member business an opportunity to showcase their facility to other chamber members.


Monthly Events:

Membership Luncheons-Held the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 11:30-1:00 pm. These events average any where from 75-150 attendees, and feature a guest speaker. This event does require an RSVP and there is a cost to attend.

Business After Hours-Held the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5:00-7:00 pm. These event average anywhere from 50-100 attendees, and normally include food, drink, and good conversation.


Yearly Events:

The Annual Dinner - This premier chamber event is held on the last Saturday of January. This formal dinner highlights the accomplishments of the previous year, formally introduces the Chairman, and new Directors.

Golf Tournament- Held in May, this sell out event is one of our most popular events. Registration available as an individual or as a team.

Business Expo - A great way to promote your business to other members and the Shawnee community. The expo is held in the fall at the Shawnee Civic Center.

Shawnee Tomorrow Leadership Program - A community leadership program that offers a behind the scenes look at and study of the critical issues and challenges facing Shawnee. The program runs January through May each year.


Shawnee Economic Development Council (SEDC) - Membership with the SEDC offers networking opportunities, new activity and prospect reports of who's doing business in Shawnee. Members of the Chamber are also invited to join the SEDC.
