Business After Hours

Investors Guild member, Shawnee Mission Ford, was host to the July Business After Hours event. Greg Goebel (left) and Brad Shull of Shawnee Mission Ford spoke to the audience, sharing what's new with the dealership, community happenings and laughs.

Chamber members and guests enjoyed an evening full of good conversation, good company and good food catered by Shawnee's own Paulo and Bill Restaurant.

The Shawnee Chamber of Commerce Hall of Fame Award was presented at the Shawnee Economic Development Council's Business Appreciation Luncheon Tuesday, July 20, 2010.

Both 2010 Chairman of the Board of Directors Tim Harmon, Harmon Construction, Inc. (left),

and SEDC Executive Committee Chair Tom Langhofer, Rodrock Development, present the award to Bayer HealthCare LLC, Animal Health Division for its major role in shaping the face of the community and for making a tremendous contribution to the city over a long period of time. Kirk Gutekunst accepted

the award on behalf of Bayer's team.
