Clarence “Red” and Mary Hartman, as I do most days of the
week, just as Amos Funeral Home was leaving the home taking
Red to prepare him to go to his final resting place.

Heritage Festival, presented by the Shawnee Sesquicentennial
Committee, is a day long celebration the entire community
is invited to come and enjoy.The Festival marks the culmination
of the City's sesquicentennial celebrations. It will be
a great opportunity to come end enjoy music and entertainment,
food and drinks, games and contests, fun kids events, learn
about the City's heritage, purchase memorabilia, and share
