During the past 50 years, a period
of time that has seen amazing growth for the city of Shawnee,
the community has been careful not to forget its roots. Throughout
the year, the city celebrates its rich heritage with a variety
of special family events. Old
Shawnee Days and the Shawnee Town Arts and Craft Festival
are held annually in Shawnee
Town.
In addition to these celebrations, residents and visitors in Shawnee will
find a host of other family events throughout the year from a St. Patrick's
