What is the inspiration of "April showers bring May flowers"? Possibly it is what each of us contributes makes our chamber grow. Getting involved and supporting our chamber gives the soil of our chamber the nutrients it needs to continue to grow and blossom into a stronger and more vibrant chamber.

Each year it is important to take time to recognize business members who have supported the Shawnee Chamber for many years. We have 60 businesses, who have been Shawnee Chamber members for 25 or more years!

As recently reported in the Kansas City Star, ESRI, a Redlands, California-based consulting firm published data on area ZIP Code demographics. Johnson County and the Kansas City area are home to numerous wealthy ZIP Codes.

Your Chamber Earned one of the Nation's Top Ratings! The Shawnee Chamber of Commerce has received a prestigious 4-Star Accreditation, one of the highest honors from the United States Chamber of Commerce, the world's largest business advocacy organization. Only 146 (2%) of the 6,936 chambers in the US have achieved this level or above from the program. Chamber benefits from Accreditation include enhanced membership, realistic program development and a justified pride in the organization.
