Gov. Kathleen Sebelius and the 2007 Kansas
Legislature recently enacted Senate Bill 83, which
reduced unemployment taxes for many employers.

On March 26, 2006, the SEDC welcomed its new
assistant director Jessica Huston. Jessica
graduated from Culver-Stockton College in Canton,
Missouri, with a Bachelor's Degree in
communications and public relations
