Zarda/Rieke Development Corporation along
with R.Z.
Rieke, Zarda Partnership and Z.Z.R. Partnership are
all owned by Ben Zarda, Leo Rieke and Tom Zarda. All
three have owned and/or developed properties in
Shawnee for more than 50 years. The list of Shawnee
properties they either owned and sold for
development or owned and developed is extensive.
Recent projects for the partnership include the
Shawnee Crossings retail center, Perimeter Park and
the K-7 Industrial Park. Both developed these parks
looking to the future of business development in
Shawnee. They are pleased and proud of the quality
of businesses that have been attracted to these
parks.
Zarda/Rieke Development Corporation was
awarded the Chamber Hall of Fame Award
in June of 2003. Tom Zarda was named 2005 Citizen
of the Year at the Chamber’s 2004 Annual Dinner.
