The Shawnee Economic Development Council took part in the BIO (Biotechnology Industry Organization) 2006 Show held at McCormick Convention Hall in Chicago from April 9-12th. Our delegation, made up of public & private officials from all over the state, was able to market and share with more than 19,500 members of the international bioscience community the great story of the bioscience industry in Kansas and locally here in Shawnee.
