Shawnee Mission
Ford was founded in February of 1954. The company was
originally located at 5900 Johnson Drive in Mission, Kansas
and was widely known and advertised as Mission Ford. The name
was changed in 1971 to Shawnee Mission Ford and on January 1,
1972 the company proudly moved to its present location at

For the second year I had the opportunity to travel to
Chacala, Mexico as part of a team of volunteers from the
Shawnee Rotary Club. Again the purpose of the trip was to help
finish out an addition to the kindergarten building used for
the 22 children in the class. |
